Unfortunately the game was released with a few bugs, sound problems and an online mode that is almost unplayable. Also available are options to reconfigure your controller layout and change the game's visual presentation using video filters.
The collection features all three original arcade games, 12 achievements/trophies and online play including leaderboards. A PC version was also announced to be coming to Steam, but has yet to be given a release date. The collection was released on August 30th, 2011 for the PlayStation 3 and then a day later on the Xbox 360.
The press release states that the collection is an "arcade-perfect port." The collection features full online play and leaderboards, but will not be a HD remake as some previous rumors had stated. officially announced the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection, a package that includes:
